According to social media reports the Knec retired the teacher after beating up his colleague over stolen phone.
Reports say the matter is currently being handled at Thinks police station in conjunction with TSC.
“TEACHER who beat a colleague at MANGU High over lost phone has been RETIRED by KNEC, ordered to pay 60k.
“The matter is currently being handled by TSC Thika and Thika police station.The beatee has resumed marking.” One social media user posted.
The teacher was beaten because he allegedly stole a phone at MANGU high school.
