The Teacher Service commission has confirmed its intentions to confirm the intern teachers on permanent and pension employment.
According to information gathered, interns employed in February and subsequent interns (junior interns) in future will renew contract only once then absorbed into permanent and pensionable terms without subjecting them to interviews.
This was brought to light by Julius Melly Chairperson Parliamentary Education Committee.
Melly state that they have given express instructions to TSC to do so and they have reached an agreement on the same.
He was speaking in vernecular during an interview with Kass FM international.
