Two men broke into women house, rape and rob them.
Police have reportedly launched a manhunt for robbery and repe suspects in Vihiga.
According to DCI reports, police are currently investigating a violent robbery case reported at daybreak today by two female college students, whose house was broken into at the dead of night by two unknown men who also raped them.
In their 6am report to police, the victims who shared a room at Kamgoi village of Shaviringa within Hamisi Sub-county were suddenly woken up by the two robbers who bore pangas and knives, threatening to kill them if they raised any alarm.
The fear-stricken victims’ mobile phones were taken away before being forced out of the room to a nearby forest where they were assaulted, raped and abandoned.
As the victims get medical assistance at a local hospital, crucial leads are being followed to hunt down the suspects.
