The Kagamega senator Boni Khalwale has responded to the man who asked for tea.
In a tweet, the young man asked the generous senator to buy him a cup of tea since it was a weekend.
“Good morning 🌄 Senator Boni 👋..Today being a weekend, I’ll be very glad if you buy me a cup of coffee ☕ 0792415468. Thanks in advance, Bwana Senator 🙏” begged the man, only identified by his social media name as Gichane Anthony (@gichane_anthony).
In his response, the senator sent ksh200 through M-Pesa.
The senator then went ahead shared a screenshot of the same which read;
“RIU94TGLHH Confirmed. Ksh200.00 sent to Antony Gichane 0792415468 on 30/9/23 at 5:50 AM. New M-PESA balance is Ksh51,385.34. Transaction cost, Ksh7.00. Amount you can transact within the day is 499,740.00. Dial *234*0# to check your FULIZA LIMIT.”
