Police, on Saturday 24th June 2023, recovered a firearm and Magazine loaded with two rounds of balls.
The recovery was made possible through the efforts of a mult-agency security operation team from Sere Olipi, within Leitemu Village, Sere Olipi Sub-Location, Samburu County.
“Yesterday, 24/06/2023 at around 1640hrs through efforts of a mult-agency security operation team from Sere Olipi, a G3 Rifle with visible serial number, and a magazine loaded with two rounds of 7.62×51mm balls was recovered, hidden in a shrub within Leitemu Village, Sere Olipi Sub-Location, Samburu County.”
Police say efforts are at an advanced stage to arrest the key suspect, who is also said to be connected with recent raids, murders/stock theft cases in the area.
