The first lady has congratuleted faith Kipyego and Emanuel Wanyonyi after their remarkable victory in France Paris.
The two, that are; Faith broke 5000m record and Emmanuel won the 800m.
“Congratulations to Faith Kipyegon and Emmanuel Wanyonyi on their remarkable victories at the Paris Diamond League.
“Wanyonyi won the 800m race in the fastest time, while Kipyegon broke the world record in the 5,000m race.” Said the first Lady, Rachel Ruto, in her nightly message.
She says their resounding victory as champions reverberates throughout the nation.
“Kenya swells with immense pride at their achievements. Not only are they exceptional athletes, they are an incredible inspiration to those who dream big.”
