Lawyer Donald Kipkorir mother has died, the lawyer has confirmed.
He made this known via twitter. He says his mother succumbed to cancer.
Lawyer Kipkorir, while thanking God for her, recalled that she never cried even in her pain.
“Yesterday, my Beloved Mama, Katarina rested & is in the bosom of Abraham. My mum fought her aggressive cancer with Stoicism, Fidelity to God & Courage. She never once cried in her searing pain. I thank God for giving her to me. In the heavens, she finds peace & serenity.” Wrote Lawyer Kipkorir on Sunday 28th May 2013.
He added, “An Ode To Mum A grief without a pang, void, dark, and drear, A stifled, drowsy, unimpassioned grief, Which finds no natural outlet, no relief, In word, or sigh, or tear-Samuel Taylor Coleridge”
On 19th May 2023, Kipkorir flew with her mother to India for treatment.
“On my way to India with my mum. The Commandment to honour our parents is the only Commandment with assured Blessings … My Beloved mum Katarina has undergone so much pain .. Praying that the Best Oncologists in India will give be my mum respite & healing. May the heavens hear us.” Wrote Korir while captioning a photo of him with his mum in a plane.
