At least three people were killed and several seriously injured in a fatal accident early Sunday morning after a truck lost control and crashed at the Aboda-Boda section in Kipkaren on the Eldoret-Malaba highway.
One man reportedly lost one of his legs toe after being chopped by train.
An eyewitness told the K47 news that a truck bound for Uganda veered off over a bridge over the Kipkaren River and crashed into the shadow of Boda Boda, crashing into two motorcycles.
It is reported that one of the motorcycles rider who was trying to cross the road with his passenger on board was hit, and his bike was crashed.
According to eyewitnesses, pedestrian are among those killed.
The crash created a traffic jam as residents rushed to the crash site to witness and rescue the victims.
One person, who spoke to K47 news team says she lost three of her friends in the accident.
