A larm over the rising number of quack advocates as one is arrested in Nairobi County.
According to Rapid Action Team (RAT), after conducting a raid at Ruiru practical centre, in Kiambu County, one man by the name Peter Kibugi Wairimu was arrested.
“In tackling the rising number of quacks masquerading as Advocates, the LSK Nairobi Branch, through its Rapid Action Team (R.A.T), and the LSK Thika Chapter conducted a raid on masqueraders at the Ruiru Practice Centre.” RAT said in a statement.
Adding: “the team managed to nab Mr.Peter Kibugi Wairimu, who’s been pretending to be an Advocate. With the support of Ruiru Police, the masquerader was arrested and is currently in police custody. He will be charged tomorrow (03/05/2023) at the Ruiru Law Court. We will keep you posted on new developments.”
