The Orange Democratic Movement Secretary General Edwin Sifuna on Tuesday 2nd 2023 matched to presidential office during their demonstration.
Sifuna, who was in the company of 50 other colleagues were teargassed as they present their petition.
Sifuna note that the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua they know where to find them but instead, they met the police.
“My 50 colleagues and I have been teargassed outside the Office of the President as we marched peacefully to deliver the People’s Petition. Gachagua told us we know where to find them. We do. We went there and instead met Police. Cowards!” Sifuna said in a statement.
Sifuna accuses the state say it is in a well orchestrated spate of violence is trying to paint ‘our #MaandamanoTuesday as anything but peaceful. We know these tricks.”
