The Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua had a very bad day during labour day which took place at Uhuru Garden on Manday 1st May 2023.
Gachagua, in his speech, praised president William Samoe Ruto saying he has stabilized the economy of country.
Gachagua added that when president Ruto took over power, the price of Unga was over Ksh230.
Gachagua went own to praise president Ruto, saying the price of Unga has reduced to slightly ksh150.
However, Kenyans, who attended the Madaraka celebration had Rigathi Gachagua’s speech cut short to adjust unga prices midway.
Gachagua had to clarify that the price of Unga is between 150 and 180 depending on the supermarket you are buying.
