The deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has today the 22nd April 2022 morning left the country for Gaborone, Botswana, to represent H.E President William Ruto, at the second edition of Forbes 30 Under 30 Africa Summit.
He was accompanied by His spouse, Pastor Dorcas Gachagua.
“Forbes 30 Under 30 recognises outstanding young innovative entrepreneurs in Tech, the Creatives, Culture, Sports, Health, and Science, among other fields. At least four very outstanding young Kenyans were awarded in 2022.” Said Gachagua.
Gachagua continued to detail that “Youth entrepreneurship is central to the transformation of Kenya and, indeed, Africa. It is key to tackling unemployment in the Continent, which stands at 12.7 percent.”
“Through the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda, the Ruto Administration is contributing to the Africa Rising trajectory.
“On the sidelines of this engagement, I will meet and listen to Kenyans living in Botswana.” He concluded.
