Child-birth beliefs: Lady shares her shock.
A Nigerian woman, identified as Yemisi Vese has shared a shocking belief about child birth.
Yemisi, who resides in Lagos Nigeria took to Twitter @yemisivese to narrate the following:
“I’m 41years old and I just found out in the last 4yrs that people attached special importance to vaginal birth over caesarean sections.
I learnt this from comments on social media.
My mum is a professor and I grew up in her circle of academics and highly educated people.
No one ever mentioned nonsense like that. The objective should be a healthy mother and healthy baby.
Why is it important how someone is born? Truly baffling to me that people lose their lives by insisting on a specific type of birth even when it is obvious that is not what they need!.”
