Ruto preside over swearing-in of Shadrack Mose.
President William Samoe Ruto on Monday presided over the swearing-in of Shadrack Mose as solicitor for a period of 5 renewable contract, at Nairobi statehouse.
The first in command urged him to offer leadership and ensure the Government gets the right legal advice.
He made it to the top from the three name submitted to president Ruto. He replaces Mr Ken Ogeto.
“We acknowledge the supremacy of the Constitution and submit to the letter of the law. Nothing extra-legal will be part of what we do as a nation,” said President Ruto.
Former Speaker of the national Assembly Justin Muturi was also present.
On behalf of the Department of Justice and as the Attorney General of Kenya, Muturi extend a warm welcome to Mr Shadrack Mose as the new Solicitor General.
“Your appointment to this important position reflects your extensive legal experience.As you assume your new responsibilities, I have no doubt that you will bring a high level of expertise, professionalism, and dedication to work.” Muturi said.
Muturi added ” I look forward to working closely with you and to supporting you in your efforts to ensure that the Government gets the right legal guidance to discharge its mandate.”
