Ruto to reduce 50 CASs to 23, exclude those rejected at the poll

President William Samoe Ruto has been asked to reduce the number of the nominated 50 CASs to 23.

In a recent post, the city lawyer Ahamednasir Abdullahi says the first in command should consider his move.

According to the city lawyer, Ruto should nominate 23 CAS as recommended by the Public Service commission (PSC) and excluded those who were rejected in August 2023 polls.

“I think H.E. @WilliamsRuto should reconsider the 50 CAS he nominated. He needs to reduce the nominees to the 23 vacancies his office sought from the Public Service Commission & EXCLUDE all those who LOST seats in the August elections.DONT GIVE JOBS TO THOSE REJECTED BY THE PEOPLE!,” Abdullahi posted.

The remarks comes few days after Ruto nominated Millicent Omanga, Kidero, Fred Gumbo among others who lost in August polls to CASs position awaiting parliament approval.
