Malala to respond to Raila’s mass actions on Monday by raiding home in Karen.

Kenyans are looking forward to what happens on Monday when Azimio boss Raila Odinga is expected to rally his supporters in Nairobi as his massive protests rage across the country.

Last week, Odinga declared Monday, March 20, 2023, a public holiday and called on his supporters to peacefully hold mass protests against the unbearable cost of living.

Speaking at Machacos University, the UDA secretary general Cleophas Malala argued that Raila’s mass actions would paralyze business and lead to economic sabotage.

“Monday, March 20, will be a normal working day. There won’t be any holiday, whatsoever,” Said Malala.

He added: “We will not allow Raila to destroy this economy which we are working on reviving from the pit it was left,”

Malala detailed that President Ruto has initiated a number of programmes under the law to ensure that price of basic commodities is reduced.

“There is no need for a demonstration against a Gov’t that is working hard to sustain the economy,” Malala urged Kenyans.
