The Kenya Union Of Post Primary Education Teachers KUPPET has come out to speak after teachers attack in Homabay schools.
KUPPET says Head-teachers in Homabay County are fearing for their life as parents have been attacking them.
Parents reportedly cite poor performance of students, embezzlement of school funds as the main cause for the attack.
Teachers have threatened to abandon their duty over the same.
parents have been reportedly chasing teachers out of school.
KUPPET has asked those who are grieved to seek Union’s assistance so as no teachers is interdicted.
The Union further detailed that 6 teachers are currently interdicted in Homabay County and the Union has drafted a defence so that they can go back to work.
