KNEC issues directive on KCPE/KCSE students who shouldnt be registered.

The Kenya National Examination Council has issued a warning on kind of students that shouldn’t be registered.

In a statement via twitter, KNEC says that registration of candidates who qualify to sit for the 2023 Exam will come to an end on March 30th 2023.

It further detailed that no candidate will be registered after the lapses of the said deadline.

“Registration of 2023 candidates for KCPE, KCSE and KCSE Qualifying Test ends on 30th March 2023. No candidate will be registered after 30 March 2023.” a statement from KNEC reads in part.

Registration of 2023 candidates for KCPE, KCSE and Qualifying test commenced on 1t February 2023 and ends on 30h March 2023.

Centre Managers, as earlier directed by KNEC, should ensure the accuracy and correctness of the following details for each candidate:

Spelling and order of candidates’ names as documented in birth certificates; Gender; Year of birth; Subjects registered

“Information on candidates with different categories of special needs or disabilities, that is, Visual Impairment,bHearing Impairment or Physical Impairment. Centre Managers should note that no candidate will be registered after 30th March 2023.” KNEC stated.
