A female staff at Pizza Inn Kitengela has been stabbed to death by her boyfriend over alleged love issues.
According to reports reaching out news desk, the man stabbed the woman after she rejected his advance.
The man, who is 25-year-old, is being treated for injuries after being attacked by an angry mob for the brutal murder of a 22-year-old woman after an alleged love affair in Kitengela, Kajiado County.
Kajiando Police Commissioner Muthuri Mwongera confirmed the incident at the restaurant on Friday evening and said the suspect, who was a colleague of the deceased at the restaurant, left work early and returned later to wait for the woman and committed the heinous act.
Mwongera said the suspect is recovering at a hospital in Kitangela under police supervision, awaiting prosecution on Monday.
The victim’s body was taken to the Shalom hospital morgue while the case was being investigated.
