Azimio boss Raila Amolo Odinga has once again assured his supporters and Kenyans that their eyes are firmly on the ball and reiterate that they shall go back to the people at the earliest sign of lack of seriousness by the other side.
The opposition chief detailed that Kenya is not a colony of the United States adding “we do things as Kenyans. We are happy when our international friends make suggestions on how we should solve our issues, but ultimately, Kenyan problems must be solved by Kenyan leaders.”
Odinga further reiterated that they want the process to be akin to the process that was led by Kofi Annan which he said was people-driven process.
“We will have our members of parliament negotiating with their members of parliament, but we will also have a team to which that team negotiating is going to be reporting to”, Said Odinga.
On whether there has been a meeting between Odinga and Ruto, he said there has been none.
