Cherargei reacts on UDA plan to replace Malala as Party SG as claimed by Shollei.

The Nandi Senator Hon. Samson Cherargei has waded in Gladys Shollei claims of Malala being the genesis of trouble in UDA.

Earlier Gladys Shollei was quoted by the Kenyans.co.ke publication saying that UDA is disappointed by Cleophase Malala’s performance as SG.

According to Kenyans blog, Shollei said that UDA has never experienced any violence in its meeting until Malala took over as the Secretary General. She proposed a keen look at the SG.

“As a UDA member, l am disappointed With the performance of Cleophas Malala. We started the party and recruited people in under a year and there was not a single meeting that was violent. As UDA members.

“we should begin to ask ourselves if he is trying to destroy our party.” Said Gladys Shollei as was quoted by the Kenyans blog post.

In a rejoinder, Hon Cherargei reacted, saying that the party leadership led by H.E Dr William Ruto and UDA membership has faith in the performance and management of the party Malala.

He termed comments made by Shollei as individual comments which does not reflect party position.

“The party leadership led by H.E Dr William Ruto and UDA membership has an ABSOLUTE faith in the performance and management of the party by Secretary General senator Cleophas Malala.

“The other comments are individual comments which does not reflect party position. Kazi Ni kazi.” Said Cherargei.
