The Twitter CEO Elon musk says twitter will suspend accounts that try to game their verification system with non-sequitur self-promotion or advertise in a misleading way.
“Accounts that try to game our verification system with non-sequitur self-promotion or advertise in a misleading way will be suspended.” Said Elon musk in a tweet.
According to source close to K47 news team, a non-sequitur is where, for example a blue check account jumping into a conversation about SpaceX and they start talking about buying their weight-loss pills or subscribing to their Only Fans.
“They are at the top of the thread, even though what they are saying is irrelevant to the conversation (gaming the verification system with a non-sequitur advertisement)”
“non sequitur” is Latin for “it does not follow”
It’s used to refer to a conclusion or statement that does not logically follow from the previous argument or statement.
