Two terrorists arrested, two gun seized in Kericho.
Police are reporting an attempted robbery with violence which occurred on 21st May 2023 along Muhoroni-Kipsitet Road at Bangla area.
Security officers from Kipsitet Police Station while on patrol, encountered motor vehicle Mitsubishi Fuso driven by two men, with farm produce to Busia from Tanzania.
The duo were reportedly being robbed by five gangsters, that had cut the rear canvas of the vehicle.
Police arrested two of the suspected thugs, Odhiambo a 26 year young man and Simon who is 19 years old.
Police further recovered two home made guns from the robbers fitted with five rounds of .22mm ammunitions, metallic axe, kitchen knife, two torches and an Infinix mobile phone.
